The etnographic collection keeps artifacts of the material culture of Usseglio and the Lanzo Valleys. Most of the objects were created and used between late 19th century and early 20th century.

The objects are exhibited divided according to the different activities of the time, usually carried out by women: maintaining the house and caring for the children, wool and hemp manufacturing, agriculture and animal breeding, hay harvest, mineral activities and later, hydroelectric power manufacturing, tourism and mountaineering.

There are some videos on display, too. La mia Valle (My valley) and Buongiorno natura (Hello nature), shot in Usseglio by Ermanno Olmi in the 1950s and some extracts from the interview with Gianfranco Ferro Famil, heir of the faimily of mountain guides Vulpot.
